Assistant Plant Superintendent
Northern Virginia
An opening is currently available for an Assistant Plant Superintendent
who will work in a team environment in our Hot Mix Asphalt Plant division
for Virginia Paving Company. The right candidate will work with cost
data, scheduling activities and budget projections. We recruit and invest
in the best people in the industry and support them with the most advanced
training and computer systems available. Additional responsibilities may
include working with and assisting field personnel in the planning of
work, scheduling of subcontractors, change order tracking and any other
duties necessary to achieve successful project completions.
Requirements include:
· Graduate Engineer with 5 to 10 years of similar experience for an
asphalt paving, transportation focused construction company
· B. S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or
related field
· Computer skills and experience with Word and Excel spreadsheets a
must
· Knowledge and use of JD Edwards Cost Control a plus
· Team player willing to multi-task.
