Electro-Optical Sensor Development Engineer
Location: Roanoke, Virginia, USA
US citizenship required
Our client seeks an Electro-Optical Sensor Development Engineer with a
demonstrated background in image tube technology via tube designs, patents
and published papers. Candidate should be well rounded with mechanical
design aptitude, electrical engineering, optics, and knowledge/experience
in other diverse technologies related to night vision sensors.
Requirements:
· An understanding of human vision systems
· Interest and experience in the electro-optical testing of low
light/night vision imaging systems and image sensors
· CMOS and/or CCD image sensor or IRFPA read out IC architecture
development and test-evaluation experience
· Experience in technical management of technology development
projects with external partners
· E-O systems understanding and ability to interface with Systems
Engineers
· Experience preparing technical proposal packages
· Demonstrated capability in written and presentation skills for
technical data and concepts
· Technical Project management experience
· Experience mentoring and managing junior engineers and technicians
Education Requirements:
MS in Physics (or equivalent technical degree) plus 5 years electro-
optical experience
or
BS in Physics (or equivalent technical degree) plus 10 years electro-
optical experience
US citizenship required
May be required to obtain government security clearance
