Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Traffic Engineer

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for highly technical traffic engineering
tasks.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in civil or transportation engineering. Master in transportation or
civil engineering preferred. P.E. license obtainable within three years of
joining ATCS.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Ability to learn a wide variety of
technical work tasks including traffic engineering, transportation
corridor studies, traffic signal operations and design, and evacuation
route planning.
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
Coordinate closely with disaster services, land development / survey,
transportation planning, and other transportation functions
