JOB TITLE: Transportation Design Engineer
Location: Dulles, VA
Northern Virginia civil engineering firm has an immediate opening for a
Transportation Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
· Direct others in designing plans for rural or urban multi lane
roadways based on AASHTO, VDOT, MSHA or local municipalities design
standards and criteria. Use Microstation (with GeoPak) or AutoCAD Civil 3D
software to prepare the designs.
· Identify and report training needs for self and subordinates
including Cadd training, other technical training and beneficial industry
certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, PE preferred but not required, and
2-7 years of progressively responsible experience
